Health guarantee
Every puppy purchased from us is accompanied by a 15 days health guarantee. Within 10 days of shipping your puppy, we require you to take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian for a checkup. If the VET finds out within the first 15 days of purchasing the puppy that it is sick of an illness that has been contracted before the date of delivery, you should contact us immediately.
Our puppies are 100% safe, secure and guaranteed to be in good health and free from any signs of infection at the time we ship them to you. We take pride to say that our relationship with you doesn’t end once you take home a puppy from us. As a family of breeders and experienced puppy counselors, we would wish to believe that nothing can ever go wrong with our puppies. However, some things are not always in our control because a puppy’s health depends on many things like genetics, exercise, nourishment, and overall daily care.
We don’t believe your puppy is replaceable due to emotional attachments but we do believe that sometimes the pains of losing a puppy can be reduced when we can offer you another puppy of equal value. In case of the unforeseen event of death within one year from its purchase date, or if the puppy is found to possess health disorders (within 1 year) which adversely affects the health of the puppy, we’ll replace it with another puppy of equivalent value at no cost to you. The reason for death should be certified by a certified VET technician and we shall expect you to email us a copy of this health report.
. One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
We carefully screen our breeding pairs for genetic conditions commonly found in the Cane Corso breed to reduce the likelihood of hereditary issues. Our One-Year Genetic Health Guarantee covers the following genetic conditions:
- Heart Conditions (including Boxer cardiomyopathy)
- Hip Dysplasia
- Congenital Eye Disorders
If a genetic condition covered under this guarantee is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the first year of ownership, you may qualify for a replacement puppy (if available) or partial reimbursement toward the veterinary care associated with the diagnosis. Our goal is to provide you with a happy, healthy puppy, and we are here to support you in case any unexpected issues arise.
. Ongoing Health and Wellness Support
Nothing makes us more happy than knowing that we did bring much joy into your home with one of our babies. We do constantly give you health advice to make sure your puppy remains healthy. Here are a couple of measures which will help: Send us a copy of the health examination (medical record) within 10 business days of receiving your puppy. The examination must be carried out by a licensed VET. Your puppy comes with age-appropriate vaccinations, so you do not need to vaccinate the puppy again. We do de-worm & vaccinate your puppy before shipping them to you, so we expect you to continue the proper de-worming & conducting regular health examinations up to 16 weeks of age or more so as to keep your puppy healthy and aware (as recommended by your VET).
To maintain the validity of this health guarantee, we ask all puppy owners to adhere to the following responsibilities:
- Veterinary Care: Schedule regular veterinary check-ups, maintain vaccinations, and follow a routine deworming program as recommended by your veterinarian.
- Proper Diet and Exercise: Feed a high-quality diet suitable for Boxer puppies and provide ample exercise to support physical and mental well-being.
- Safe Living Environment: Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for your puppy to reduce the risk of illness or injury.
Exclusions
While we are committed to providing the healthiest puppies possible, this health guarantee does not cover:
- Illnesses due to neglect, improper care, or accidents
- Conditions related to allergies, parasites, or non-life-threatening ailments
- Preventable conditions (such as obesity) resulting from inadequate diet or lack of exercise
How to Submit a Health Claim
Failure to provide your puppy with regular vet care will go against this health guarantee. This health guarantee doesn’t cover any costs associated with spaying or neutering, including undescended testes.
We require all our puppies to undergo a thorough checkup before they are shipped to you. This checkup is performed by our licensed vet who issues the Veterinary Health reports for all our puppies. This report certifies the health condition for every puppy against Cardiovascular, Skin, Coat, Eyes, Mouth, Teeth, Gums, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, Ears, Urogenital and Gastrointestinal diseases.
This health report will be filled out on the date of shipping the puppy to you so that you are assured that the puppy’s health is guaranteed. This report is then reviewed for any issues or concerns notated by our veterinarian. And if there are any serious issues with the puppy then he/she will not be shipped to you. We also require you to get your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within ten days of receiving the puppy.
